The Lansing Police Department (LPD) is committed to innovation, high quality customer service, and building strong relationships with the community in order to maintain a high level of public safety. The app gives users access to LPD information, events, crime alerts, and allows the public to submit real time TIPS, no matter where you are.

The following features are included in the application:

•Crime Maps: View real-time crime maps of activities in your neighborhood or across the city.

•Submit a TIP: Be the eyes and ears of LPD and help the department by submitting tips to help fight crime. The application has the capability to allow users to anonymously chat with a LPD employee.

•Alerts: Sign up for alerts that can be delivered to your cell phone or email.

•Twitter: Follow and communicate with LPD through a direct link to the departments Twitter account.

•Facebook: Review the latest LPD information on Facebook and become a friend of the LPD.

•LPD Recruiting: Find out everything you need to know about applying to become a Lansing Police Officer.

•File a report: File some non-emergency police reports reports online.
